HOW TO WRITE LESSON PLAN/ NOTE FOR PRESCHOOL| Cameroonian preschool teacher.

Lesson Planning!!!

Making lesson plan is the most hated part of teaching at least for me and from the mouth of other colleagues in the teaching field alot and its so for valid reasons

After writing on the board, teaching, taking care of the kids till its closing time and then coming back home to take care of my motherly and wife futura, its safe tò say Sometimes writing LESSON PLAN comes as burden.

Especially when i just started teaching PRESCHOOL.

But we can't do without because like it or not, it makes the work easier.

Why lesson planning is important.

  • It helps guide the teacher when teaching that is, what to teach at what time.
  • It helps you teach according to the curriculum so you don't miss a topic.
  • It guides you so you can easily finish with the program of the year.

When I started teaching preschool, i struggled with making my lesson plan but as time went on, I got used to it and now I spend less than 20 minutes to write both the general lesson plan for all the subject we teach in a month and the individual lesson plan for the week.

Hello there teachers. welcome to my blog.My name is Clarisse and I am a preschool teacher who teaches nursery 1 to be precise.

In this post I will be sharing with you how I prepare and write lesson notes for Nursery 1 class in just 20 minutes.

Well the format for the lesson notes is the same whether you're teaching preschoolers or primary class

SO HERE IS WHAT WE NORMALLY DO WITH LESSON NOTES IN MY SCHOOL.

In my school, all the teachers are expected to hand over their lessons notes to the head teacher every Wednesdays before 8am if not you get a querel letter which might eventually lead to your suspension or dismissal if you get served up to 8 querrel letters.

Then by Friday, after the head teacher has gone over it, if there is any necessary corrections to be made, the head teacher corrects us (teachers) individually and after corrections, we take the out lesson book back to prepare the next lesson plan for the following week.

So here is the lesson book.

HOW TO WRITE LESSON NOTE

In the book, we have 2 major sections. The general lesson plan section and the individual lesson plan (Monday -friday) section.

So we start by writing the general lesson plan.

GENERAL LESSON PLAN:

This is the plan for the week. This is where you write down the lesson plan for all the subjects you're
